Messy Museum @ Erewash Museum – Christmas.

Continuing their outreach efforts, the Ilkeston Methodist Church returned to the Erewash Museum for another opportunity to connect with the community, this time as part of the Museum Christmas Community event. Alongside other stallholders offering arts, crafts, food, and charitable goods, it was a fantastic day that was well received by staff and visitors alike.

Setting up in a small room just off the main corridor, the team played carols throughout the day, creating a joyful atmosphere that could be heard throughout the museum. They took advantage of the steady flow of visitors to talk to people passing by, passing on information, and being a part of the community event.

Their efforts did not go unnoticed, as the team received a round of applause from all present. It was another successful day for the Ilkeston Methodist Church in their ongoing mission to reach out and make connections within the community.
