Ukrainian Refugee Photo Exhibition

Ukrainian Refugee Photo Exhibition

The Ukrainian Refugee Photo Exhibition is a collection of 18 professionally produced photographs. Each photo is of a real person and their own particular story.

The Exhibition is in place at Ilkeston Methodist Church, Wilmot Street, and will stay there until the end of May.

We would like people to visit.

The exhibition is open during April and May at these times:

  • Wednesday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Friday mornings from 10.00am to 12 noon
  • Sunday 16th April from 5.30pm to 6.30pm

On Sunday 16th April, this is a really good opportunity for you to extend your time with us. At about 6.30pm we will be setting up for our monthly Soul Cafe which will start at 7.00pm (but refreshments will be on offer from 6.30pm)

Soul Cafe is a very different way to be in church. The theme for the evening is presented in video, songs and stories in a cafe style atmosphere with free refreshments. In the current series the theme is “death”, rarely talked about. As well as addressing the challenges, we will use humour and positivity.

The invitation to you is to come along to view the Exhibition and then experience Soul Cafe.
