Our church is located in the heart of Ilkeston, and we are proud to be a fun and friendly community that is dedicated to serving our local area. We offer a range of programs and activities that are designed to help people explore and deepen their faith in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Worship Experience

What to Expect?

Our Worship is lively, friendly, fun and interactive with the traditional sermons and readings to singing Hymns; what makes our fun is this may be done through creative media, video, music, drama, puppets, poetry, crafts and more. We also have a band to play live music. Come and be part of the service, whether it's helping with the media, being part of the band, taking part in a drama, reading, or just coming and listening.

Mid Derbyshire Methodist Circuit

Ilkeston Methodist Church (IMC) is part of the Mid Derbyshire Methodist Circuit. The Mid Derbyshire Circuit developed its Mission Policy 2015 and this identified Ilkeston as being one of its key mission areas.

The Circuit has requested that all Church Councils in the Circuit should promote this Mission Policy and actively seek to develop local mission policies which are aligned with and contribute to it. It is the practice within IMC that, wherever possible our Church Council agendas make reference to the relevant priorities included in the Circuit Policy.
